Rex Sikes Action Planning Weekend
Every time you dreamed of doing something & then didn't, or hesitated, or felt doubt, or stayed stuck...
You allowed thoughts to stand in the way of your own greatness. But you can choose better...
Dear friend,
You may not have known you were choosing that mindset, but unconsciously, you were.
Most people have read self-improvement books and listened to recordings... but few really get that the mindset that enables your progress... is a conscious choice you can make.
Many trainers and speakers wax poetic about the power of positive thinking, but... most aren't remotely gifted at helping you make the internal choice to build a new mental habit, to train your mind to prefer the positive over the negative. They tell you to think positively, and inside, you think, "Yeah, that'd be useful..." and then you may not notice when you follow that up with "but people can't change who they are," or "easier said than done," or "easy for him to say," or "that's great for here in the seminar room, but what about when my boss stresses me out?"
Hordes of hopeful (but habitually pessimistic) people have attended self-improvement workshops. Yet, few began with the most critical internal shift, that enables every other step towards greater success and desired results.
Want to Unleash your Momentum?
You may actually need help (more help than you've gotten from self-help books, etc), to free yourself from negative thinking, ask better questions, practice mindfully making positive choices.
NLP Master Trainer Rex Sikes built a reputation for being extremely effective at helping people just like you to make this particular change in their mind.
You'll learn more about Rex further down on the page, and how and why he became so good at this particular skill, but for now, let's explore why this is so important for you.
Why is it so critical a skill, to think positive, and work to maintain a positive frame of mind? Rex says:
We might consider this. Two forms of matter cannot occupy the same space. This is a principle of physics. So whatever you choose to think makes an incredible difference.
If you don't have a positive attitude, then what is the alternative? If it is not positive, what is it? It's negative.
There are only two forms of electrical charges that we know of. And human thought is based upon electrical charges in our neural circuits. Hence, two forms of thought energy. Positive or Negative.
Another principle is that Nature abhors a vacuum. So one or the other form of thought, or energy, will occupy the space (the space of your conscious attention). So...
if you could choose between either negative or positive energy that you allow to occupy your mental space, which would you choose?
Consider for a moment that none of this is true. Even if it isn't true, it makes sense to occupy one's mind with the best one is able to, rather than less than the best.
Which one would make you feel better, more alive, hopeful, which one might help you accomplish more and live your dreams? Which would you prefer Positive or Negative thought? Which would you rather have influence you?
It is our choice to choose what we think. Whatever we currently think, or have been thinking in our life, is a result of our mental habits which developed either purposefully or haphazardly.
If we are't choosing and determining, if we aren't running the show, then we are subjected to whatever else is running the show. If we aren't steering our ship, then, whichever way the winds blow is determining our journey. It is time, for us to...
Decide, now, to be captains of our own ships, and steer them to the destination of our choosing!
When we plant seeds, whether we plant rose flowers, or corn, or wheat, or oak trees, the result is: we get what we planted and what we nurture. We reap what we sow.
Nature does it's part, only after we do ours. If we don't plant anything, there is nothing for nature to act on. But if we plant the seed, nature can contribute to its growth. We may need to assist nature, to make sure that what we planted keeps growing.
The fact of the matter, though, IS that whatever we plant -- is what we get. If we plant roses, we don't get corn or oak trees. We do reap whatever we sow.
Now weeds can choke the plant we planted, because two forms of matter can't occupy the same space.
So, we have to tend to the plant, and make certain it grows.
Connection to Law of Attraction? We could call this the Procedure of Attraction.
