Jonathan Altfeld

       Jonathan Altfeld led a 1st successful career (and was an award winning consultant) in the field of Artificial Intelligence, and left AI to begin his public speaking career in 1997. Jonathan went global within his 1st year of training, and rapidly built up a fan base around the world, due to his innovative style & depth of knowledge & skill. While Jonathan is based in Tampa, FL, he trains frequently in England & Europe, Canada, Australia, and all around the USA. He's known for seemingly effortless transfer of skills, and a primary focus on making NLP a natural and practical addition to your life.

       Jonathan has developed multiple focuses, including (1) spoken voice development, (2) powerful presentation skills, and (3) modeling/changing beliefs with his "Knowledge Engineering" material, which teaches students a new & unique approach to modeling decision strategies, and unconscious beliefs.

Doug O'Brien

       Simply put, Doug is amazing. Doug was one of Anthony Robbins' master trainers from 1985-1995, and has been running his own NLP & Hypnotherapy/hypnosis courses since then, mostly in New York City, but also across the USA and more recently across England as well. Doug is known for leading students through elegant and gentle learning experiences in NLP, hypnosis, and has trained especially his Sleight of Mouth CD's.

Module 1: "Belief Craft", combining KE & Sleight of Mouth
3 (extended) Days to Profoundly-Gifted Modeling Skills (Analytic/Explicit)

This 3-day Option is scheduled for Tampa as the First 3 days of our NLP Master Practitioner Training. The dates are Thursday-Saturday, June 12-14, 2008. (Note, the rest of the Master Practitioner training continues on, the very next day after Belief Craft).

This course can be taken either stand-alone as our Belief Craft course or is included as a necessary component to our certification course.

Belief Craft combines Modeling with Jonathan's "Knowledge Engineering" method, with Doug's unique approach to "Sleight of Mouth."

Only a select few trainers know what modeling is, can do it extraordinarily well, and can teach it. This obviously includes the co-founders of NLP, and a handful of others such as Robert Dilts & David Gordon (there are others). And there are many other trainers who are gifted in their own areas of expertise (examples like Roger Deaner of LeaderVision in Melbourne who's gifted at Spiral Dynamics, and like Andy Smith in Manchester who's becoming a renowned author on Emotional Intelligence). These people are known for their own strengths, are great at modeling for their own purposes, also good at training it, and also recognize when another modeling system comes along that students are acquiring & using more rapidly than other systems that have been taught before.

That's what's happened with Jonathan's "Knowledge Engineering" approach to explicit modeling skills. Jonathan's KE course is increasingly being invited in as part of other trainers' Master Practitioner courses. Then there are other trainers who frankly don't have the foggiest clue what modeling is. How to identify those? Those are often people who will shy away from abundant discussions of other wonderful and competent trainers and then attempt to redirect the conversation back to their own course. Caveat emptor! Modeling is the core of NLP! If they can't describe it to you in sensory rich detail, then they certainly can't train it!

Over the 1st 2 extended-days, you'll learn the links between the meta-model, clean language, values, decisions, strategies, beliefs, and belief systems, and you'll have an intuitive sense of the difference between modeling and changing someone else's map. Throughout those days, we'll be blending in elements of Sleight of Mouth, and on day 3, you'll get immersive and masterful instruction from Doug on Sleight of Mouth skills, and you'll use the combination of KE & SoM to dramatically enhance your ability to change minds in a targeted, graceful, and appreciated way. Gone will be the "Hammer-Nail" response people typically give in response to unskilled Sleight-of-Mouth users. Instead you'll see grateful responses emerging from the people you work with.

The cost for these 3 *12-hour* training days with both Doug & Jonathan for their "Belief Craft" workshop is:

Module 2: Systemic Thinking Skills & Advanced Patterns of Applied NLP

This 7-day Module Begins Immediately After Belief Craft. Master Practitioner Candidates are required to take both modules, and the tuition for this Master Practitioner course includes both. People who only take the 3-day "Belief Craft" training will not go on with this 7-day Module (but may choose to stay on past "Belief Craft" if any seats are still available in the full "Master Practitioner" course. This module continues the day after Belief Craft and runs Sunday June 15 -- Monday June 22, 2008
