FAST™: Trainer Drills Creativity & Brilliance

Attention: Speakers & Trainers of ANY kind...
including World-Class Facilitators!

Do you want your clients and students to think
you're the most creative, amazing, gifted
transferrer of skills in the world?

Or, to put it another way... do you occasionally get stumped by not knowing what to do... when a problem student can't wrap their brain around a seemingly-simple set of instructions (or concept)?

Dear facilitators, speakers, & trainers,

Each of you knows we all need to keep sharpening our game in some way or other. Not only do we need to, but we crave it -- because we love learning. So anything that gives us another edge -- a serious edge -- is worthwhile no matter what level we're currently at.

In November 2006, I ran a 2-day course in Melbourne Australia to give students an EXTRAORDINARY edge. And I'll be running that course again in London UK, in July 2008, and in Orlando, FL in September 2008.

This course is designed to help bring less-experienced facilitators and speakers out of the realm of the challenged... and into the realm of the gifted, the elegant, and the natural.

It's also designed to give world-class facilitators the opportunity to study from me what your peers have complimented me on for years -- my ability to covertly construct a multi-level experience that enables absolutely extraordinary rapid and deep learning, without student resistance.

I'm not going to take that much of your time to explain this. I'm simply going to share with you what I plan to cover, and then ask you to read what a range of Australian speakers who've experienced this with me already had to say.

Have you heard of... or are you interested in...

Ericksonian Hypnotherapy (Dr. Milton Erickson used something called "Tasking" as an indirect and highly effective form of changework/teaching).
The Discovery Method (Trainers here use variations of Semantic Priming to plant seeds for later discovery, and then lead students into the context where the planted seeds can sprout new understandings & discoveries).
NLP "Skills Installation" (Highly misunderstood by many, and while it's great for preparing people to unconsciously learn new emotional resources and pathways... by itself its rarely the only or the best way to learn a wide range of skills.
Bernice McCarthy's "4-Mat System" -- Teaching the Why, What, How, & If -- to match different learning styles & preferences
Accelerated Learning techniques such as Brain-Gym(R) and Edu-K(tm) exercises for whole-brain learning, etc.

If you can say YES to any of the above -- the following information should excite the hell out of you:

After years of people complimenting me on the artistry behind what I do, many trainers have been begging me to show them how exactly I achieve the near magical results I often get, with my students.

This includes some of the most challenging situations that speakers or trainers would ever face.

I plan to reveal my highly unique blend of all of the above skills, and more, in London, UK this coming July.

Let me reveal a few keys to what I do:

For starters. I think of everyone as a child prodigy, a potential Mozart, or Frank Lloyd Wright, or Nicola Tesla, or Picasso, who might not have found the right guides at the right times, yet. In other words, every brain is fertile soil for incredibly fast learning.

I also believe, that if you choose to learn a lot about the psychology of your audience members, and if you want them to really hear what you're saying and understand you well, then you really don't have much choice: you have to change the way you present information, and redesign the experience your audience members are going to have, from the ground up.

When you truly think about it from that point of view, doesn't it just make perfect sense?

Finally, if you take a person with a fertile mind... and sequence them through the perfect set of observations and experiences, the natural learner inside them takes over, and can have profoundly fast and deep learning experiences.

So. How does that translate to a real & practical method YOU can use, to become your audience's most valued speaker, and to be able to get results where others can't?

It begins with a certain set of questions I ask. Questions I ask about myself, about the audience, and about the outcome they want, and the outcome I want for them as well. (Well, sometimes, I have higher aspirations and expectations for my audience than even they do for themselves... I often tell my "NLP & Sales" students: "don't come into my course hoping for only a 5% increase in sales, when I'll be working to double your income!").

The answers I get... to those questions... drive a unique and often indirect process of leading my audience through and into a series of observations and experiences. And sequence can be incredibly important. The wrong sequence, no skills transferred. The right sequence, and you can elicit pure brilliance in your students.

I call this unique process
Finesse Accelerated Skills Transfer.
Join me & gain the FAST™ Advantage.

Now. I won't spend these two short days (Friday & Saturday, 11 & 12 July 2008), teaching platform speaking skills. I have a separate course for that. So within this course, I won't be focusing on making you a better storyteller, or a better platform-salesperson.

However.

If you're a less-experienced facilitator... I will... help you become a vastly more confident, creative trainer, secure in the knowledge that virtually whatever challenges your audience members face, you will end up with unprecedented student testimonials, you'll be getting referrals more often than you ever expected, and have a reputation for getting results other trainers only dream about.

And if you're already a great facilitator... I will... do my best to give you that extraordinary edge... that push into the level of 'world-class'. For me, one of the bits of evidence of world-class is that we don't call a job done until our students are impressing both us and each other with their own newly discovered gifts. When we help people perform miracles, THEN we've done our job well. And doing so builds fierce loyalty, too.

I'm Jonathan Altfeld, from Tampa, Florida.
I run the Mastery InSight Institute.

If you don't already know me through my materials or this website, I've been running mostly 'applied NLP' workshops on three continents, North America, Europe & the UK, and Australia, for about a decade now.

My courses regularly attract other NLP Practitioners, Master Practitioners, & Trainers, because what time I don't spend marketing, I spend on improving my NLP courses. Many other NLP practitioners, master practitioners, and trainers regularly come to my courses, to sharpen up their skills.

I found some of the exercises so useful that...

I attended a training without a great deal of expectation as it was going to be a basic introduction to NLP language patterns. However, as the training progressed, I realised the calibre of Jonathan as a trainer and how he very smoothly weaved the training together. To say that I leaned a lot would be an understatement.

The saying goes that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery…" Well, I found some of the exercises so useful that I utilised them in trainings I have given for companies like Nokia.

Thanks again for an amazing workshop and more amazing experience. I will be recommending this program to my colleagues...

I have just come off a 3 day training program with 13 people. I have to say I experienced amazing results and have integrated more HC than I thought. During each of the breaks David [another Holographic Communication student] was coming to me and saying things like 'great amnesia patterns' and 'cool embedded commands' (or words to that effect). There were some that I was conscious of, and others that demonstrated unconscious skill.

However, this course (Cert IV), through other public offerings, is often delivered in anything from 8 days to 6 months, and I had some (secret) concerns about pulling it off in 3 days... [judicious pause]... and I did. I believe that using the HC techniques of headlines, universals/truisms, moving people through states and using embedded commands meant this program had real legs and the content was delivered in an extremely accelerated, yet satisfying, way.

In any case, the proof was in the pudding. Participants, in their final presentations, demonstrated *all* of the techniques that I had taught them and performed beautifully and "passed". Thanks again for an amazing workshop and more amazing experience. I will be recommending this program to my colleagues, and look forward to an 'advanced HC' program when it eventuates.

... one of the best and most accessible trainers you're likely to find.

People often ask me about other NLP trainers. Maybe this is because I have very high standards for people claiming to be NLP trainers, or maybe it's just because I don't mince words. Whatever the reason, it's just something that happens from time to time. So it's no big surprise to hear someone ask me what I think of Jonathan Altfeld.

Well, here's me having very high standards and not mincing words:

Jonathan? He's very good. It's as simple as that.

I would be willing to leave my students in his hands, and that puts him in the company of maybe two or three other trainers who share that much of my respect. This is a guy who looks after every one of his students, works hard, has plenty of fun along the way and makes sure that everybody else does too. And he knows his stuff. From a student's point of view, this means that you're getting someone with top-notch skills and expertise.

And from another NLP trainer's point of view - oooh baby …

See, everyone knows that expertise in the nuts and bolts of NLP training will get you good results, and many trainers just stop there. But some of us aren't satisfied with nuts and bolts. Some of us want more. Because deep down, we know that there's technical skill … and then there's artistry …

And this guy is an artist. As another trainer, it's an absolute joy to watch Jonathan weaving his magic. It's very easy to see that he loves what he does, and he loves doing it well. And he just doesn't stop, even after the training day is over. He'll happily keep going in the bar afterwards! He's like the Duracell bunny, only less pink and fluffy, and a lot more fun.

Seriously though, the number of NLP trainers that I endorse without reservation can be counted on the fingers of one hand (in fact, I could count them and still have room to spare for a couple of finger puppets). Jonathan is one of those trainers. If you have a chance to enroll in one of his seminars then you have a fantastic opportunity to experience quality NLP training with one of the best and most accessible trainers you're likely to find.

My advice? Make the most of the opportunity - you'll have a great time, you'll learn a lot more than you think, and you'll develop some fantastic skills without even realising it until you notice yourself using them to great effect long after the course is over.

My sells in the juicer have increased 30%.

I very much enjoyed your seminar. I am enjoying the flow on effects. Having more comfort when I talk with people makes the rapport deeper. My sells in the juicer have increased 30%. Even though my demo is only 90 seconds, I hold longer eye contact and do individual action to as many potential customers as possible, building a sense of connection. Also music sounds better. I am looking forward to attending your next seminar in Australia.

it's now much easier to get everyone's attention in the first 5 minutes and, then, easily keep their attention throughout a lengthy training session.

I run training that involves doctors, medical practice managers and nurses - all in the same room. They have vastly different backgrounds, training and models of the world. Getting them to work together - and understand each other - can be a challenge. In 2005 I did Jonathan's Holographic Communication program [on NLP for Presentation Skills] with the expectation that my key messages would be more concise and, therefore, more easily integrated by participants in my courses. In the six months since HC, I've experimented with headlines and with spatial anchors specifically, noticing that it's now much easier to get everyone's attention in the first 5 minutes and, then, easily keep their attention throughout a lengthy training session. Since doing HC, I'm better at tracking shifts in participants and, therefore, responding fluidly as we go. I get great feedback from all the groups and I feel I expend less effort and energy. Even people who do my courses twice can't believe that they're experiencing the same material, as they get so involved each time, it's like new learning for them. Thanks Jonathan!

Do I have to have taken NLP training to take this course? Any other pre-requisites?

No prior NLP Training is necessary to get all the advertised benefits of this 2-day course. All that is required is that you are a strong critical thinker!

You MUST be able to change perspectives relatively quickly, and often. People who are frequently certain 'their perspective is right' in many circumstances will make for a resistant student in this course, because of the frequency and extent of how we will be changing perspectives. To get the most of this course, you MUST be able to consider the world from someone else's perspective, including their values and beliefs, as well. NLP training does help people reach this level of cognitive flexibility, but by no means is NLP the only route to that. Many good and great speakers & facilitators who haven't taken any NLP training are this flexible -- they would have to be, in order to become good at their jobs.

So while there is no level of NLP that's required.. there will be a little bit of homework before the class. Yes, you heard me right! No one may come into the course on Thursday morning, unless they have their homework in hand! (Sounds ominously 'academic!')

All I really need you to do, before the course, is write down at least 2 challenges with transferring a skill from yourself (or an exemplar of some kind), over to a student or a group of students. This can either be a challenge you anticipate having at some stage in the future... or, preferably, a real situation that came up for you once... or ideally, that keeps coming up for you repeatedly. If you must use names in your description, then please do change any real names (both individuals and companies) to 'protect the innocent,' because we will be reading some of these aloud throughout our 2-day course.

In short, you will be providing me (as the course leader) with the fertile soil for us to plant new seeds, new growth of ideas. I will essentially be your guide to some new ways to think about creatively leading people into deeper understandings and deeper skills.

I look forward to seeing you in London (or Orlando)! Register Here A.S.A.P.!

Warm regards to you & yours.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Signature

P.S. Seating is limited, as I'm pre-contracting for particular rooms in London & Orlando. So, there are only 30 seats available. Remember, I limit it to 30 so that I can engage in TRAINING you, not speaking AT you. When these 30 seats are sold, the opportunity's gone.

P.P.S. Also, the first 10 to register will also receive a GBP20 in London (Or US$30 in Orlando) gift certificate that you can use/apply towards any of my NLP home-study materials at the event in July or September.

P.P.P.S. I've got several training organizations emailing their own lists about this. Over 4000 people are being notified of this unique event, so register early to secure your place.
